Access to the data housed on the Synthetic Data Server (SDS) is granted by the relevant data provider. In order to access
- SIPP Synthetic Beta: please consult this page at the U.S. Census Bureau’s SIPP website
- Synthetic LBD: please consult this page at the U.S. Census Bureau’s Center for Economic Studies (CES)
Once access is granted, you will receive an account creation message, directing you to a page on this site. You will then have access to TWO compute servers: the unrestricted SSG compute nodes (on ssg.vrdc.cornell.edu), and the restricted-access SDS. Follow the instructions in the email for the initial setup, and start computing.
