SBO/CBO and QFR zero obs datasets now available on the VirtualRDC

Thanks to the Census Bureau, the zero-obs versions of the Survey of Business Owners (SBO) and the Quarterly Financial Reports (QFR) are now available when logged on to the compute nodes. You will find them under

[/ssgprojects/virtualrdc]/economic/cbo/microdata [/ssgprojects/virtualrdc]/economic/qfr/microdata

where [...] is the part of the location that is specific to the VirtualRDC, and the remaining [...]

QWIPU R2010Q4 (data through 2010:1) available for download

The most recent QWIPU data for all participating LED states are available for download. The release R2010Q4 covers data through 2010:1. In general, each state’s version.txt file points to the last updated quarter. Updated data for Florida, Louisiana, and Oklahoma were not provided by the Census Bureau, the latest release for those states remains R2010Q3. [...]

JAGS2 RPM updated, solving a minor installation issue

We maintain RPM packages for openSUSE, RHEL, and CentOS for Martyn Plummer's JAGS2 (Just Another Gibbs Sampler, see http://sourceforge.net/projects/mcmc-jags/). A minor issue with the installation of the -devel packages (necessary for using rjags) was solved yesterday (we removed the dependency on 'pkgconfig').
