[ECCO] Network problem affecting compute nodes, project spaces

We are experiencing a problem with the 10Gb network providing access and file services to the compute nodes. We will update once the problem is solved.

ECCO and SDS users of Rstudio may have noticed that our install of Rstudio is fairly old. This is a technical constraint, as the most recent versions of Rstudio require more modern operating systems (we still run CentOS 6).

On November 15, 2017, Nomachine S.a r.L. released a new version of the Nomachine client, v6. That version removes the access protocol in use for ECCO and SDS, and will, under no circumstances, work with our systems. Users should continue to use any installed v5 client, and new users should not download the v6 client [...]

[ECCO] [SDS] Do not update Nomachine Enterprise Client to v6 for now

The new Nomachine Enterprise Client v6 is incompatible with the configuration files we provide. Please hold off on updating until we have a solution.

Cornell is currently experiencing a serious IT issue, this may affect access to ECCO and SDS.
