As many of you know, we are asked to report the impact of the grant by, among other things, listing any publications that were made possible (in part) by the grants supporting the VirtualRDC and its components, the SSG and SDS. The SSG is funded by NSF grant 0922005. John Abowd and Lars Vilhuber are [...] ATTENTION: All SSG Cluster Users DOWNTIME for: ssg.vrdc.cornell.edu and all compute nodes DATE: Wednesday, 5/23/12 TIME: 8:00am - 12:00pm The downtime will attempt to solve the performance issues with our high-performance network interfaces. All users will be logged off; ALL jobs will be killed. This downtime does not affect the SDS. We will be bringing the web servers (this web server, the download site, as well as the SVN repositories) down for a brief (hopefully less than 30 minutes) downtime, from 9:00 AM (EST) to 9:30 AM.
