Since 10/13/2006 09:29 AM, NSF01 is back online, and temporary storage mounted at /temporary/saswork1. However, the storage mounted there is on loan from Census CSvD (3TB from their 3Par SAN), and will need to be removed in the near future (it is thus "temporary" temp space) when the 7TB SGI storage becomes available. We will provide you with information on where to put these files, and have asked CSvD to provide simultaneous access to both the 3Par SAN and the SGI storage.
