Print Friendly, PDF & Email

The Local Employment Dynamics–All About Jobs (LED) Workshop hosted by the U.S. Census Bureau on Thursday, January 19, and Friday, January 20, 2006, at The Madison Hotel, 15th and M Streets, NW, Washington, DC. The workshop is scheduled to begin on January 19 at 8:30 a.m. and end on January 20 at 4:00 p.m.

This not-to-be-missed workshop will bring state labor market information liaisons together with LED project researchers and others to exchange ideas, review the previous year’s activities and plan for 2006. All About Jobs is expanding and now has 40 state partners. The program is being used in new and innovative ways such as helping communities recover from economic dislocation due to recent natural disasters.

Participants will have opportunities to describe their uses of LED data and to learn from others. Sessions are planned on mapping, new projects, data quality, enhancements to the QWI, and state-specific examples of LED-related projects, among others.
