[ECCO] [SDS] Latest updates to Stata, Matlab

We applied the latest updates to Stata. Matlab R2016a is available. Please note that the DEFAULT Matlab version remains R2014b. This prevents your programs from changing results all of a sudden. To explicitly switch to a different Matlab version, see our Advanced Qsub page.

[ECCO] Matlab R2014b available on compute nodes

Matlab R2014b has been installed on ECCO compute nodes (official release notes). In order to use it in your programs, please use the "module" command. The default "qmatlab" script does not yet use the newer version.
